Michael Keerdo-Dawson 'Haunting' is an overused adjective to describe music of this ilk, but I'll fall once more into the cliche and say that Alison May is most certainly haunting and simple. A beautiful voice with beautiful lyrics on a beautiful little EP. Worth every penny. Favorite track: Films.

Douglas Leinen I think it was definitely the production and general feel that drew me towards Alison May's other records. But her songs work equally well stripped down and simple. Especially like the early version of "Beard" titled "Films" here. Favorite track: Films.

I love every album Tamara has released but there is something truly otherworldly about The Line. The banjo playing is magical. The layered voices haunting. Every song is a gem. I really wish The Line would be re-released on vinyl. furnituremusic
